I have loved renting from Benson for the past 2 years. They have always been so helpful and very understanding when I go to them with concerns. Their maintenance team always comes so fast after putting in a request and I’ve never had a problem with any staff treating me poorly. Yeah, the rent is high, but you’re paying for a very nice apartment that is safe and close to campus, so it’s worth it to me!

So unhappy with this company. Was unaware of certain charges after we had thoroughly read and signed the lease, now they are claiming we are forced to pay the charges. They are scamming college students into spending all of their money. Awful spider problem, and have had mice in the windows. Do not ever rent with this company again unless you want to leave unhappy and broke.

Will never be renting from them again, wish I would have read these reviews prior to signing a lease. Outrageous pricing and unreasonable repair terms. Treating college kids with no respect and stealing their money.

They do not respond to any complaints in any way. I went into their office and informed them that a window was smashed on the backdoor to our apartment complex and it was not fixed for three weeks. There was glass on the ground outside my apartment for three weeks. 

Also, I have a friend who had an apartment in 1414 Pine that had no window, which is illegal.

If you want to be treated like an adult, take your business elsewhere.

The reason they get a star is because I have a place to live because of them.

The star ratings speak loud enough. Plenty of bad reviews.  No comment needed Benson Management.
