This place was great and a must try. Food was very fresh and true to its Asian cuisine. The fried rice was an upgrade but totally worth the price. And the bento box was delicious. So much food for the price so prepare for a to go box. If you’re in the area stop by it’s worth it.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
This has to be the most delicious sushi roll I’ve had in a very very long time! Bento was recommended and said to have some of the best sushi rolls in Tampa so I decided to try the Hot Lava Roll and was pleasantly surprised that it was as good as they said it would be. I don’t normally try sushi from everywhere but this was well worth the money and I can’t wait to try more of their rolls!
My go to is always a Build-A-Poke with salmon and tuna. Love how many different topping options there are! The fish was fresh and the rice was cooked just right. I always get the dressing on the side, that way the rice doesn't get soggy from it. Would recommend, 10/10!
So, after a mediocre visit a few months ago, I decided to go to this place again, hoping that I would get a better experience. It got worse. First of all, this restaurant has not changed in a positive way, but in a negative way in terms of decor and service. When we walked inside, one of the menus was out, showing only one menu. We got confused over which menu to pick on because we were planning on getting hot food. The cashier wasn’t helpful at all on this situation. Not only that, but there are several issues with other utilities. There were three soda dispensers not working, and the bathrooms were closed. I don’t think it’s even legal to not have a restroom available for guests to use. They did deliver our food in a shorter time, so that’s an improvement. The food itself was good like last time. I got the Pao Pao Lo Main, and it was good, everything was creamy and spicy. However, someone else got the Teriyaki Chicken, and it tasted gross to me. Also, it was almost $60 for three people. Makes Disney look cheap. Overall, was a disappointing experience, and did not improve. If this was my first time, I would’ve rate this three stars. However, for deteriorating over four months, I will be petty and rate this even lower. Stop doing dine in or close down already!
I make it a priority to come here at least once or twice a month. I am so in love with this place. The portions are so fulfilling and the flavors with everything are Chefs Kiss When I first started going I ordered the Bento box with Orange Chicken but ever since they changed the menu and added one of my absolute favorite Asian Dishes chicken Katsu with the Japanese Curry of course : it's been my go-to ever since. If you haven't already tried this place I would highly recommend. Forget all the negative comments . Service is quick and efficient, I've been here plenty of times by myself and with my mother and we've never encountered bad service or a bad food experience. Every time I come, I get reminded on why I love this place so much. Bento definitely has my heart for sure.
Super worth meal with big portions, and I even had leftovers. I had the LoMein Bowl with Shrimp. It has red bell peppers, onion, bean sprouts, carrots and scallions. Natalie at the cash register was super sweet and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Pro Tip: ask the cashier their opinion or even for fan faves. Next time, I’ll have to come by and try the LoMein with their fan favorite Pao Pao Chicken.
The restaurant is clean. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered a poke bowl, and the deep fried green beans appetizer, along with a bo-bo green tea, all to-go. First, it is a terrible idea to put hot food ordered as a separate dish on top of a cold sushi bowl. When I arrived at my destination and removed the sealed lid, I found my top layer of sushi warm from the green beans. In addition, much of the tuna was not chewable with a tough string of fat throughout it. I ate the salmon and the cukes. The pineapple looked and tasted like canned. I threw away half the bowl. The green beans actually tasted good. And the tea was very good. Not a sushi place.
Flavors were delicious love the concept of a burrito I would not suggest eating it while driving I will be backRecommended dishesSpicy Tuna Roll
Forgot all these other reviews. This one right here is the realest. Their food was absolute TRASH!! First of all, almost $50 for two bowls and two drinks???!?!?!?!? Absolutely absurd!!! The egg roll was the only good thing! So basically I paid $50 for a egg roll and a drink. Which by the way, the drink was from the fountain, Hi-C!!! So good job Hi-C that was good. The chicken and rice tasted like straight VINEGAR!! Right out the bottle! The food was so bad, we had two bites, left and went to McDonald’s. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Save your money and your taste buds.
If I could do 0 stars I would Me and my friend came here and got poke bowls and paid $18 each and there was barely any meat or toppings on it, just all rice. This place is such a waste of money don’t waste your time here instead go to Pokeworks down the street and for $10 you can get double the toppings and meat As a college student I have to spend my money where it counts and this place is not worth it
