July 21, 2012 It was a saturday evening around 6 pm and i finally realized what was wrong with my air unit outside. I called Benton County Air and asked them to sell me a part for my A/C They not only sold me the part for a reasonable price but they gave me advice on what not to do when i installed my part.Everyone has a bad thing to say about some people some of the time but i give them kudos for helping me and my family out when we needed it.Thank you Benton County Air.

Benton County Heating and Cooling is not practicing honorable business practices!  I called them for a general maintenance, but mainly for a funny noise I was hearing coming for the a/c unit.  They charged me $75 to check the freon, spray to outside of the unit down with the water hose, and told me that they thought the noise was coming from the motor of the unit, but that there wasn't anything they could do, and suggested that I wait till it broke down.  

I understand the charges for the "maintenance" but what was unethical about their practices was that they knew the unit was under manufacturer warranty, didn't tell me, in hopes that it would break down and I would call them to replace the $400 part plus labor!! Now I am going with another company to replace it while it is still under warranty.  I consider myself lucky to be out only $75 from this company; if I would have taken their advice, I'd be out over $400 in the cost of the part alone!

Beware of this company!!!

These guys are crooks and liars, in Aug of 2011 they told me i had a bad blower motor and would be $439 + $50 overnight shipping + tax + labor to fix (est $632).    Turns out it was a bad Capacitor. (a $10 part)One Call Heating and Cooling fixed it for $50 total
