The Benton Fire Department serves the citizens in the City of Benton, IL. Our services include Fire Suppression, Rescue, First Responder, and Dive Rescue. We cover 5 sq. miles and provide services to 7,100 citizens. We also are a member of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) Division 68, which covers Franklin and Perry Counties.
The Benton Fire Department's mission is to reduce fires and the loss of life through Public Education and the Bureau of Fire Prevention and Inspectional Services.
The Fire Department shall provide Fire Suppression and Rescue Services and respond to emergencies that threaten life and damage to property.
While not always possible to achieve perfection, the City of Benton, Department of Fire and Rescue are committed to delivering dedicated and professional services with the latest equipment made available for the services to the City of Benton.
