The Bentonville Library Foundation’s mission is to support its community’s knowledge by learning and enhancing library facilities, programs and services.

The Friends of the Bentonville Library’s mission is to establish closer relationships between the BPL and the people it serves; to enhance library services through financial support; and build awareness of the library resources, services and needs.

This is the best library I've ever been to. I moved here three years ago from the Michigan countryside and was blown away the first time I walked into this library. An awesome coffee-shop (The Cycle Path cafe is seriously my favorite place to get a latte and I'm pretty picky - excellent quality), a cozy auditorium (I watched Still on the Hill play there once and it was awesome), and a large book selection with up-to-date technology (I was amazed the first time I checked out lol) makes this one of my favorite places to spend a rainy afternoon. I see other people on here complaining about the staff, but they've all been very friendly to me so far. I'm super socially awkward and I feel completely comfortable here. Definitely worth a visit.

I've been going to this library for quite a while. It's a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The librarians aren't always so nice. Sometimes, I want to go up and ask someone up at the front counter about a book, but the mean face they have on deters me from them immediately. I don't know if they were properly trained. It's a great place to relax with your kids playing board games and such. It doesn't have too large of a catalog  but for a library such as that, I guess it's not too bad.

A. The librarians are not always friendly and will sometimes treat you like you were just born yesterday.
B. Since I am 14, My library information got changed to my parents info, without notice to myself or my parents. 
C. I have several late fees due to the mix up 
D. MY LIBRARY PIN WAS CHANGED W/O ANYONE BEING TOLD 
All I ask is that you don't mess with my account without my permission. I was not able to access resources that I needed to without having my parent present. Also, I was not able to renew my library card without a parent. I am 100% sure that I am capable of writing my address on a piece of paper. As far as I can see there is no reason for a person to be rude to someone trying to renew their library card.

This is a nice sized library with a great children's area.  There are perks that come with membership such as free Rosetta Stone language courses online.  The selection of books and media makes this the best library north of Fayetteville.  EXCEPT, several of the librarians aren't very friendly.  The term "mean girls" comes to mind.  I would not recommend this library to families with active young children.
