Overpriced and not well maintained but on the river. $29/night for tent site no power/no water and no fire ring. Bathrooms were functional with hot water but seriously in need of updating. Door to toilet was 1 much away from toilet seat! Canoe/kayak rental was very expensive. Service was friendly at first but then they gave away our reserved power tent site to another guest. The campground offered a trip for river canoe shuttle but didn't want to come get us at state park after we rented the gear from them. Trash was overflowing the filled dumpster on the campground property.  We tent camp about 8-10 times a year and would not return or recommend this campground.

The float was pleasant but way longer than expected from the pick up point.

Sound courtesy not enforced.  Music thumping until 2am. Our second time to camp here. First time, four years ago, other campers who didn't disturb others. Excellent experience. But maybe word has gotten out that this place doesn't care about courtesy, so more parties are coming. Not worth the risk of no sleep, to make the trip back. Too bad, it's a pretty site by the River.

The spot is great, mother nature speaks for itself.   Staff wise,  I'm not so confident in that.    They didn't empty out trash, and start yelling at folks to not leave their trash.  Sorry, trash was already there when we got there.  Clean up, I don't work there, so Im not cleaning up the place. Now if I owned it,  that would be a great different story 😉.
