Great park with a really play scape.  There are many fantastic views of the lake and lots of hiking trails. If you like to fish, you're in luck too.

Only complaint is that the playground isn't more shaded - slides were too hot for my little ones at 11am.  It is Texas though.

The grass in the dog park was too prickly/stiff for my small dog to comfortably walk around on.  I imagine a large dog would have no trouble.  The rest of the park is very nice and it looks like it could accommodate large groups

Pretty nice dog park with seperated areas,  wish it had a water feature, and also wish there was one in boerne.
Beautiful area around it.
