This is a park that I'm very skeptical of due to the gang violence that has happened in and around the park I do go to the swimming pool but only if it's free cause I'm just not going to pay to be shot or stabbed. lol I know it's no laughing matter but that was a good one I don't want to pay to get shot or stabbed. So anyway yeah it would be a great park if this area was cleaned up of the crime and violence that plagues it. So for now I keep my distance of it.

This Park is located in historic Bessemer has always been a favorite of locals and seen many upgrades over the years. Ball Park, swimming pool, playground, covered area and lots of well kept grass.

Love how they open splash park for free before pool opens; 4 year old could play on slides and run over and get cool. It's great that there are 2 bus lines to get here (we are public transportation family). There was no litter that I could see.

This is a dangerous park. Lots of gangs and drug abuse in this area. I was there for puppy training and was extremely nervous by the red tank top and blue shorts I was wearing. There was alot of homeless people asking for money and I found several needles in the play area. 
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. TAKE YOUR CHILDREN AND PETS TO A SAFE PLAY AREA.

Would get a five star review except they now change for the splash park. Too bad there is such a limit to free stuff already.
