DO NOT VISIT THIS GEEK SQUAD. It's been 6 weeks since I dropped my laptop off and it still isn't ready. Don't waste your money on the Geek Squad coverage, don't expect the squad to answer your questions, don't expect to be there less than an hour. Bad service, expensive pricing, rude agents, they don't even have a charger for a laptop that was purchased in the very same store. I would avoid the Best Buy altogether.

As far as I'm concerned this store is a glorified warehouse of inventory because the customer service here is non existent. I've gone here twice, called once and all 3 experiences were the same. Associates who lack the knowledge and customer service their position requires. There are too many Best Buys on the planet to shop at this one. My advice to shoppers: Place your order on line, pick it up here and hope you don't get a rude remark in the process. I don't write reviews but when someone hangs up after keeping you on hold for 1 hour and 2 mins while they discuss dinner plans, travel arrangements and  staff drama . . . it's hard not to feel disrespected.

I don’t understand the bad reviews! Every time I’ve been here the customer service has been incredible and honest.

Yesterday I bought a TV wall mount and TV, Danny helped us and he was incredibly knowledgeable.

He gave us the appropriate wall mount and told us what we needed to install, giving us the perfect one a Sanus model that fully swivels and tilts off the wall up to a 65” TV.

 We decided we wanted a cheaper TV, he didn’t pressure us at all but he reiterated the quality difference and said we wouldn’t like it.

Lo and behold we didn’t like it! We came back, he easily helped us return it and swap to the other model, even helping us find one in our price range.

Dope place Danny is the best.

I always pass through Best Buy on the S. Portland entrance to get out of the cold or rain. It's a good strategy on their part. I usually don't get things but once in a while I do. Their customer service can be hit or miss.

This store has a good selection of stuff. Been here 5x and each time my only complaint Is having to track down a sales associate for assistance with locked items. They can be standing right there and soon as you look at them it's like they hurry off and off you go behind that sales associate or another. Once assistance is achieved the customer service is nice. Some are very friendly, knowledgeable of the item/items and don't mind explaining things to you, Tell you have a nice day and come back again. It's a good store overall
