Story

Best Care Pet Hospital is the only AAHA-accredited specialty veterinary clinic in Sioux Falls and the region. We offer veterinary services ranging from basic wellness and preventative care, to specialty surgery, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.

Achieving AAHA Accreditation is not an easy task and requires over 900 standards to be evaluated, which is why most hospitals are not accredited. It requires an abundance of time and dedication everyday from the entire veterinary team to achieve and maintain. All members at Best Care Pet Hospital are dedicated to this achievement in efforts to provide the best possible experience for you and your pet.

Best Care is owned by Joe Spoo DVM DACVSMR and Krista Hardy DVM DABVP. The practice also includes Sonja Miller DVM and Doug Reimer DVM DAVCS.

These guys do an amazing Dr. Miller is very helpful and gives you full details of what you need to know with your pets health. The other staff that have helped are amazing as well and also very knowledgeable.

I went to multiple vets with allergy issues for my dog. Prescriptions were flying all over the place, and my pockets were getting thin. On my first visit to Best Care Pet Hospital, not only did i feel listened to about what was happening with Jax, but the staff there knew exactly what we needed to do to fix the allergy and skin problems we were having. This is the best vet experience i've ever had and each visit is worth every penny. Thank you for helping me!

Wonderful! My cat has a chronic illness so we've been to many vets through the years, but these doctors and vet techs are some of the most caring, attentive and knowledgeable that I've ever encountered. Highly recommended.
