I took my 15 year old Jack Russell to Best Friends to board her for 3 nights. I told the attendant that she was old and did not really socialize with other dogs and did not "play"; that she slept most of the day and did not require much exercise. When I picked her up, it was apparent that she had been left in a kennel the entire time. Before bringing her to me, the attendant said she had had an "accident" and needed a quick bath. I was completely shocked when she was brought her to me - the fur on her haunches was stained yellow (from lying in urine?), she was having trouble standing steadily and/or walking, she had pressure sores and she smelled horrible (even after the quick bath). This boarding occurred in July. I have felt so terrible about putting my old pooch through this horrible experience that I have avoided writing this review; however, I knew I had to get it out there. Do not take your pet to this "Retreat"!

I love Paws in Paradise. The owner is awesome. Everyone that works there is great. My 2 dogs were there for 26 days while we were getting the house ready to sell. We have one dog who is nippy and the owner had no problem with him. We could go visit our two and take them out for a walk when ever we wanted too. Both of them were healthy and happy. Thanks Paws in Paradise.

Paws in Paradise is now Best Friends under new owners. Safe place to board your pets for a day or a week. Grooming service is also very handy.
