Very hit and miss for me. Rooms are dated and in desperate need of a touch up. Feels very worn. Thermostat I think is older than I am. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and sweet, busboy to manager. They helped me figure out the metro system to DC (we don't have those in Texas). Breakfast was fine, but on paper plates and plastic silverware. I expected a bit more. Coffee was weirdly good though for hotel coffee. All in all it was fine for the steal I got it for and I didn't feel unsafe traveling alone, but I wouldn't stay here again without a big update.

Check in was fast and staff was courteous. Hallways and room smelled clean. Room was very nice. Breakfast was well stocked with a variety of foods. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Convenient location. Easy on/off highway. Large comfortable room with king size bed, desk small micro wave, coffee maker refrigerator, toiletries in the bathroom. Varied breakfast selections.

The rooms were outdated, mine even had a big orange electrical cord running through it because some of the outlets didn't work. the service was not very friendly, my check-in took over 50 minutes and the front desk person didn't seem very compassionate about the fact that my room wasn't ready when I arrived. The hot water stopped working, when I call the front desk they told me that too many people were taking showers and to just let the water run for 10 minutes and it should get hot. After 30 minutes I called again and she said they were working on boilers. After another hour I called again and got no answer! But there was a free breakfast, which was decent, they have an outdoor pool and the location was great! It wasn't the worst hotel experience, but it was close.

Decided to call this hotel home while visiting DC for the Bruno Mars concert. This hotel met all my needs and even exceeded a few of them! Outstanding place to stay while visiting the DC area and will recommend this hotel to anyone!
