The location is great. It is close by many markets, restaurants, and cafes. The rooms are clean and we'll organized. I've booked this hotel more than 3 times and I loved it! Always coming back to this hotel. The only downside is that parking is $14. No free parking.

Clean, modern and inviting feel.  Probably THE BEST workout room in the IHG chain.   Fantastic bed, great variety of comfortable pillows, and modern easy to use well lit bathroom. To top off all of the value adds, this hotel is inexpensive.  No free parking. $14 a day valet.

My conference was in the Marriott, but I generally don't like the rooms there. Even was only a mile away (with free shuttle) and $100 cheaper a night than the room block. Must say that I recommended even to many of my friends already. Each room has work out equipment with videos to used them and a booklet free. They also had standing desks at two levels (plus regular desk) and a white board. Coffee, 24hr gym, flavored water, and fridge. But everything else is really nice too. There's a Panasonic light where you can choose what color the light (next step would be to get the light alarms). The shower soap is very nice (both cool down and energizing body soaps) and they have me a make up wipe. Sheets and everything were clean. 

Overall, I understand their focus is hipsters on business trips, but I'm a hipster who would stay at this chain even on travel trips.

Very nice staff and room. It's not really my cup of tea (not exactly into exercising), but still felt welcomed. Everything was comfortable and clean. Food was geared towards health, so I found breakfast to only be okay, but if that's your thing it's probably good.

I usually stay in this hotel when I'm in Rockville - for the money it's a pretty solid deal. I enjoy the focus on fitness, and in addition to the amenities to that effect provided in the room, they have a pretty spectacular fitness center. The rooms are modern and well-appointed, and all seem to be in pretty good condition (although I tend to find the lighting just a bit on the harsh/brittle side). On the all it's an enjoyable stay, despite a front desk staff that doesn't quite seem to be on the ball. Nevertheless, you would do well to give them a try.
