Beth Tikvah Synagogue

About

Beth Tikvah Synagogue is a warm, inclusive, egalitarian, and fully participatory independent congregation. We are an inviting, joyful and spirited community which provides a special opportunity for families to grow together in a Jewish environment.

Story

Beth Tikvah was founded in 1996, to meet the needs of the growing population in Westborough and the surrounding towns that desired a modern, progressive path to Judaism with a family feel.

Our Religious School provides a nurturing environment in which our students grow into competent, educated, proud members of the Jewish community. It is open to non-members.

Mission

Beth Tikvah provides a warm and relaxing place to worship, study and share with other Jewish families. It is an inviting and spiritual place which provides a unique opportunity for families to grow together under a Jewish umbrella. We encourage each individual to contribute his or her skills and ideas to maintain our Jewish heritage and history so that our children appreciate their Jewish roots.

An amazing welcoming Shul that offers fully egalitarian traditional services with online options. Facility is first class. Ambiance is totally heimish. Leadership is not only so learned but SO KIND and the Cantor sings like a professional opera singer!
The best synagogue in town! I have never felt more at home than I do when I walk through the front doors of Beth Tikvah. The Rabbi along with the staff are very friendly and always ready to serve the community. I had the privilege of finally attending the High Holiday services and will definitely be coming back.
I am honored to be a part of this amazing synagogue. Rabbi Jarrod Grover is an outstanding Rabbi and leader. He cares so much about the members of the Shul, not only in a spiritual aspect but also on a personal level. We are so privileged to have such a great Rabbi and staff to continue the everyday work in our synagogue.
The worst neighbour ever. Their guests block the entrance to our street every year for 4 days. They park everywhere and its impossible to maneuver within our street. They have a huge parking lot yet their guests think they are better than anyone! And have a right!
I wanted to express my extreme disappointment to the Beth Tikvah community on the treatment of my dad during his last days. My father Stan Revich was a founding member of Beth Tikvah and paid his dues until his dying day, even though he spent his last 10 years in Burlington and wasn't able to visit anymore. But our family was very active while I grew up.....we were there not only every high holiday, but also every Friday night, and every Saturday morning. My 3 siblings and I went to Hebrew school 2 times a week, Sunday school and celebrated all of our Bar/Bat Mitzvahs there. My mother sang in the choir and was active with many other activities.there.. In late October I called the Beth Tikvah office to let them know that my dad was in the hospital in Oakville and was not doing well. About 2 weeks later the Rabbi finally called me and I asked him to come out for a visit...he said yes, but when I asked 'when' he said he would let me know, that he was very busy. The next time I heard from him was about a week after his funeral, more than 3 weeks after we talked. There should be no more words, but I was so disappointed that several weeks later I decided to write a letter to the board of the synagogue. I did receive a response about a week later I can't remember who it was saying that she was just going on vacation but she would be in touch when she got back in a couple weeks. So here it is, the middle of June and not a word from anyone. I truly feel sorry for the congregation of Beth Tikvah. I am happy to hold onto my memories of Rabbi Feder, and the many hours we spent there growing up, but I am sad that Beth Tikvah has left me and my family with this bitter taste. Perhaps I should have just let this slide, but of course I think about my dad every day, and he was a big believer in writing letters when he felt he had been 'wronged' so I am writing this last letter on his behalf! I never expected to be asked to bring previously bought tickets in order to be able so say Yizkor on Yom Kippur. I didn't know, besides bringing stuff is not even permitted on Yom Kippur, and offered to pay the next day. We were denied entrance to the synagogue to pray.
Life changing place .... Must meet Rabbi Jarrod Grover. Excellent personality with great vision and humble.
Great Synagogue. Rabbi Sachs is great!
Lost its identity
I like this shul. Thanks to everyone who leaves "positive" feedback!
