Congregation Beth Elohim is committed to fostering an open, diverse community that acts as a place for
spiritual development, as well as the celebration of Jewish culture and values. As an Independent
congregation, we forge a unique balance between preserving Jewish traditions and embracing progressive ideals, creating an environment that is inclusive to all. Our leadership is committed to the personal and spiritual growth of our members, providing guidance and support throughout life's journey.

Our family has been so lucky to find a home at CBE in Acton.  My kids love coming to Religious School each week and truly feel connected to their Jewish peers in the area and are proud of their heritage.  For my husband and I, CBE has been a place to make friends, get involved in community service, and worship in an open, caring and dynamic environment.  We are very excited about Rabbi Mike Rothbaum and look forward to make more years of continued involvement.

CBE has been a wonderful community for our family since my son was in preschool. He's made lifelong friendships, and my husband and I have loved having such diverse ways to get involved, from social events to social action. Rabbi Mike Rothbaum has an incredible ability to connect with congregants of any age from all faith backgrounds, but it's especially meaningful to see him energize the kids and get them excited about Judaism. CBE is truly a special place.

We've been members of Beth Elohim for over 20 years and think of CBE as our home away from home.  Even more important, we consider many of our fellow members to be part of our extended family.  We have truly enjoyed having Rabbi Mintz as our rabbi (and now Emeritus Rabbi) but we are really excited about our new Rabbi, Michael Rothbaum, and all the energy he is bringing to our congregation.

CBE has been my spiritual home for almost 30 years, and  I cannot imagine a more welcoming community.  We have just said good-bye to Lewis Mintz, our beloved rabbi of 40 years, and now welcome Rabbi Michael Rothbaum!  The times, they are a changin'!
