They are the best in the area. Greg, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of biking. Many of Connecticut's racers use this shop for their bikes, parts and service, but they do a lot for the casual rider, too. They have one of the finest mechanics in Connecticut (Bones). They are all 100% committed to making biking a great experience for all. I really like working with all of their employees. I have used a lot of shops throughout Fairfield County over the years, and this shop stands out as the best.

The manager at Bethel cycle is disrespectful. he wanted nothing to do with his customers and I will never do business with them again. Do not waste your time or money here.

Bought the bike from this shop over a decade ago. Have not used them that much for maintenance except for the last 2 years. Had trouble with shifting to granny in front. They replaced middle ring in the front which needed replacing. but this did not solve problem. Had to back again. This year was worse. Went in for a tuneup. Took 2 weeks. They only had one mechanic. After that the chain was jumping in the back between rings. Took bike in again. Chain was borderline so I got a new one in addition to adjustment. I was also told how bad triples were. That I needed to get something newer. Rode bike again. Problem with getting into triple in front re appeared. Was furious. Was told by owner that bike was old and only so much can be done. Informed owner that bike had a new ring in front and the rear cassette was only a couple of years old. Mechanic made another effort. Bike road better but still had some trouble with it. Also got the talk about new bikes again. Rode bike again and front derailer broke. Brought bike to another shop. After a discussion was told that middle front ring was bent slightly which contributed to the failure of the derailer. They noticed this because the chain was rubbing consistently. I noticed the chain rubbing also but it was hard enough to get Bethel to fix the big stuff. Never mind the little stuff. This shop straightened ring. Anyway either Bethel bent the front middle ring during maintenance or never noticed that it had become bent. Either way they were lax. I get the feeling Bethel only wants to work on the newer performance bikes. Anyway all shifting is now far superior to when Bethel worked on it. I can now get into granny at 4 or 5 mph with some torque on it. I had trouble getting into granny at 8mph with no torque when Bethel worked on it. I had heard about the arrogance of this shop. So I got that and a dose of laziness or incompetence. They were telling me how to ride and shift and blaming it on me.

Bought a bike here. It was well put together but the service was disappointing. The guy was snobby and they wouldn't even fit me on my new bike for free. I didn't even bother bringing it back to them for my one free tune up. I went to a place where they actually appreciate business...

Meh...More sizzle than steak. A large following in the Western Connecticut area by mid to upper end cyclists. Bones is a top notch mechanic and knows his stuff. Owner is a little full of himself. Visit the shop when you need some tubes or lube and you should be ok.
