This is a very affordable place if you are looking for a bargain. Remember you get what you pay for and here you do not get much. I visited this park several years ago and it was excellent. Now there is a new operator and the quality is lacking. Staff is rude and distracted. The equipment if both unsightly and of poor quality. Our kayak had a leak. One of the staff members mentioned they are pretty new and many already have leaks. If not for the park itself this would have been a lower rating. It is a love park with many outdoor activities. Perhaps the quality will increase from the rental operator. I would recommend paying a little more somewhere else for a better experience.

The area is really nice but the kayak rental was terrible. The customer service was horrible. While we were putting on our life jackets they kept rushing us into a kayak and hollering, "yo are you ready, let's go" even though we hadn't asked for the kayaks yet. One of the people in our party had a broken kayak and ended up stranded on a Mangrove. Some random people in a canoe told the people working about it. They went out to go get him with a single person kayak, and then had to come back to get a tandem kayak to go pick him up again. Meanwhile it's close to sunset, it's cold out, and he's soaked because his kayak sank in the ocean. Our kayaks were taking on water too. They didn't sink but everyone's pants and underwear were drenched. At least they have him to free hours on a tandem kayak for next time.

Absolutely loved it! We will be going again and again! The trails aren't open at the moment due to hurricane Irma but there are lots of other areas to ride! So many different things to do here and the staff are all very friendly.

Worst experience ever, the staff was rude and cynical. I rented a single kayak and the kayak was extremely dirty and the seat was very uncomfortable. The staff did not help me at all, I fell off the kayak when getting on and the staff did not help but laughed because I was overweight and could not get back on. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This park is great for people that enjoys the outdoors. You can either rent kayaks, paddle boards or bicycles. If you rent the kayak, go to the sandbar in the intercoastal, depending on the day, you may bump into a spring break boat party! The bicycle trails are fun, if you are an experienced rider I recommend the one called "Gilligan's island". In addition to the outdoor sports, the park has several grills for public use, so you can plan the whole day in the park. The entrance fee is currently $6, and if you have your own bicycle/kayak, that is the only fee you need pay; be aware, on the weekends you can expect a 20 minute wait to get into the park.
