On October 18th, 1992 a group of determind Christains met in the home of Rev. & Sis. Ronald H. Vail Sr. with faith that God was leading them to begin a new work.
A week later they gathered at Brentwood Community Center for their first full worship service.
Four weeks after that the group became a Southern Baptist Mission a under the St.Louis Metro Baptist Association.
On September 27, 1994 the Bible Way Mission became a duly constituted church known as the Bible Way Baptist Church.
In May 1995, the church moved to its present location at 7800 Groby Road in University City , Missouri.
On July 19th, 2004, Dr. Ronald H. Vail, the founding Pastor of Bible Way Baptist Church, was called home to be with the Lord.
Rev. Nathan C. Strachan accepted the called to become pastor at Bible Way Baptist Church and preached his first sermon as pastor on Sunday October 9, 2005 and was installed on November 27th of that year.
Bible Way Baptist Church is located on Groby, just south of Olive in University City. The congregation has been a beacon in the community since 1992, offering graded ministries and activities for the entire family. Visitors are always welcome at Bible Way and parking is located in the rear.
