The service and food were excellent! We were passing through on a road trip and stopped here because we’d heard great things and still had a ways to go on our drive. We ordered ahead for pickup and even though it was near close the wait staff was so kind when we asked if we could eat outside with our dog. They set us up at an outdoor table and brought water and everything. We got two taco platters, empanadas and a very delicious margarita. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely be going back!
Came back a second time! Fantastic service. Cute ambiance. Delicious entrees with perfect portions! The chips and salsa app was a generous portion as well!Food: 5/5
Cozy basement restaurant, conveniently located in downtown. Various tacos and the vegan enchiladas were good. Good service, decent prices. Vegetarian options: Rated highly on Happy Cow, can confirm. Parking: Street parking is free after 6PM
This is my go to spot in the commons! The drinks by Bri bartender are always spot and she gives great recommendations! 2 Fish tacos and plantains plus a flan is my go to order. The guac here is perfection.Food: 5/5
We stopped for cocktails and an early dinner. We enjoyed the cocktails and chips and salsa. Our entrees, steak tacos and enchiladas were just ok, a little bland.Food: 4/5
The overall experience was excellent! We were seated quickly even on a day where college kids were coming back to town and filling up the downtown area. The drinks from the bar were all top notch! The salsa bar definitely has very fresh salsas but lacked seasoning and heat. I got the vegan enchiladas and they were excellent! Some of the best I've had in a long time and gave me ideas to adjust my own recipe! Definitely try a tequila flight! They have a lot of good stuff and the flights have a lovely tasting tutorial! Vegetarian options: All sides and salsas are vegan, plus they have a vegan cashew crema. I was told any items marked vegetarian could also be made vegan by omitting an item or two.
Great food, fun & friendly service! The ambiance was fine - either in the comfortable downstairs dining room & bar, or out in the open air on the sidewalk. Amazing take on ceviche and so nice to have tasting flights of very smooth tequila! My wife tried the eggplant smothered in avocados; I had a hearty steak salad. Lots of fun hot sauces and pickled veggies as a condiment bar. Enthusiastic young waiter - wish we could recall his name; he was a real asset to the restaurant.
Service was great. We were there on a night when they had drink specials and a percent off of their tacos. The chips and salsa were the best thing we ate. My daughter got steak tacos that were bland. The plantains were good. She said the salad flavors were bland. My husband got three different tacos, one of which was the tongue which he said was disgusting because of how greasy it was. I got the chicken enchiladas which were good but they needed some seasoning and more sauce. Overall we spent more than $100 for dinner tacos and drinks and it was not worth the money. Also, not everyone likes radishes.
Great place that keeps getting better and better. Amazing food. Drinks are really good. Staff is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. Steak and fish tacos are unreal. Kid friendly as well.Food: 5/5
Really great food! The place was so busy when we came in. We needed to sit at the bar while we waited for a table to open up for 20 minutes. They served us drinks at the bar and then we moved to the table to have chips and guacamole with the chicken quesadilla and two of the tacos pablanos. Overall a large of amount of food that was perfectly flavored. The staff was very nice and the seating was perfect. Hope this helps!
