I love Big 5.  They have a wide variety of sporting goods.  If an item is not on sale, just wait a week or two and it will be.  Their shoes seem to wear out super fast, so stay clear of them. That is for adult shoes, children shoes might last.

Big 5 Sporting Goods is always good for me. Even when I don't buy anything I enjoy shopping there because the prices are reasonable and they have a big variety. I have bought many items there but mainly shoes and boots. All the locations have great sales but when you get in on a clearance it's just fantastic. I recommend Big 5 Sporting to anybody of any background. You may not find exactly what you're looking for but it is fun just to visit.

A wonderful experience! Helpful staff and great prices on nice brands.A good selection from value brands to name brands
I felt like they had everything for a one stop shopping trip.I got shoes and performance socks and my fiance found his specialty size.The staff was knowledgeable but not pushy! Thanks Rachele and Jay in shoes.Didnt get the name of the first man who asked if he could help , but thank you also!

LOTS of great deals here on the shelves and on the clearance racks. I was looking at a new hiking shoe and some of the sales had good brands priced at $29.99. I will be back.
