The older cabins are pretty outdated, but the price is nice for a fishing trip and they are always clean. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the two bedroom cabins with the back porch. Beautiful view in the morning! It has been around for a long time so it's cool to see some old pictures.

Stayed at a condo owned by one of our friends while I toured Murray State University. I have camped at Big Bear before and have always loved it! The owners are very nice and typically involved with activities. There are bungalows for rent as well, but they're more like fishing cabins. There are camping spots as well with other cabin styled homes that one can rent for a week or a weekend if need be. Great place to stay!

Did not stay at resort. But my family lives the recreational and picnic area and it's view and access of the lake!

We have stayed here several times. This summer our townhouse did not have a well stocked kitchen. Skillets were dirty and the on/off switch on the coffee maker was broken off. Beds were hard and not very comfortable. Wi-Fi didn't work even after reporting the problem to the office. Staff is friendly and access to the lake is great.

Campground is ok and has spots right on the lake but DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use the marina here -- VAL the marina manager has to be the most nasty, unfriendly person we have come across in 20 years of camping. I would give the campground a better rating (maybe 3-4 stars) but have to be wary of any campground that would employ such a grumpy and inflexible person. There are plenty of other really nice marina's and campgrounds in the area so do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache and GO SOMEWHERE else especially if you want a to rent a boat.
