My husband and I have stayed at Gingerwood Lodges multiple times. Each stay, we were welcomed as 'part of the family' and have never had a single issue with this establishment. The cottages are always clean and tidy and make you feel right at home. It's nice to be able to walk around and enjoy the outdoors and the nearby lake, then come back to a cozy cottage for some peace and quiet, away from the busy city life. I always recommend people and families to stay at Gingerwood. I've never experienced this kind of hospitality anywhere but here! Thank you so much for the many years of relaxation and happiness you have offered to my family and myself.

Staying here was wonderful. The cottage had everything I could possibly need and more. Not allowing smoking or pets has apparently kept the facilities in great condition and smelling clean. I would stay here again any time and recommend to friends and family.

Went with friends, the room smelled so bad I could hardly breathe. Found out they fumigated it a "few" nights before. Ants were all over the kitchen cabinet; we killed 40 or more, and then left for a while as we aired the cabin out. Came back after a while, the smell was gone.  Pulled the sheets back on one bed and I saw my first house centipede scurry across the sheets.....needless to say we all left. The other cabin had centipedes as well, not the cute little ones, the 2-3 inch "house centipedes" Google it if you want to see them, then thank me for this review, because you didn’t have to stay there and lose your money too.
We paid in full, received no refund, no return call to recorded messages, after SEVERAL tries they still don’t answer the phone. CLEARLY OVERPRICED to begin with as I saw what other places are available. It was more like camping indoors, but I didn’t have a tent with me.
