One of the best places in the triangle to get chicken and waffles. They have a lot of different options for breakfast food like eggs, bacon, turkey bacon etc. The waffles are also have different flavors you can choose from and they are fluffy and delicious. The chicken in also nicely flavored and lightly breaded. I definitely recommend

Great food and service. The chicken is the best I've had in the Triangle and the Waffles are delicious! I especially love all the different options available.

The chicken is seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The waffles are fluffy and there are plenty of flavors and menu options. The owner is friendly and food is out quick. Oh and the KoolAid!!!  will definitely be back and highly recommend

The only place in town you can get legit home made chicken tenders. Excellent seasoning and large portions. A great lunch spot for those of us in RTP.

THE BEST!! Big C is very personable, and loves his community!! My wife always get the "Uncle Wayne's Chicken" with fries, or his Pecan Waffles. The food is delicious and affordable. DON'T FORGET THE GRANNY B's KOOL-AID TO WASH IT DOWN!!! Bring the family and friends out to sit at the picnic tables and enjoy the good music.  Look for his truck or catch him at the college games. Big C. Waffles have great Blue Berry Waffles.  The last time I visited Durham, I saw that Big C Waffles was closed for business.  When will you be open again?  I am starting to have Blue Berry withdrawal :

My sister and brother in law took us here for chicken and waffles and I’m from Toronto, Canada...this place hands down is one of the best I’ve had in the south and it’s a very homely feel. They don’t have any indoor seating, but they have picnic benches outside for you to eat your food. The prices are very reasonable and the owner is amazing, nice and friendly! This is definitely a place to try out!

Disclaimer: This review for Big Cs Waffles is reflective of the food, not the restaurant service experience.  We were intrigued by the restaurant as I’ve seen it promoted by a local comedian, as well as Instagram posts showcasing catering at a nearby wedding venue.  We visited this past Sunday, from Raleigh and surprisingly business was slow for after church hours. This was a plus as we were able to get our order in a timely manner 10 minutes. We ordered the Waffle/ Wing Combo Donut and Signature Waffle Sweet Potato with five chicken tenders. We were thoroughly impressed with the portion sizes crispy wings, larger than normal chicken tenders and large waffles and presentation. Unfortunately, this is where the quality took a turn. As compared to other “chicken ‘n waffle” restaurants in the area, the flavor of the waffles were not consistent with their description. The waffles took on a heavy grease flavor that overpowered both the sweet potato and donut flavors. The hand breaded chicken tenders could’ve used just a little more seasoning, but that’s neither here nor there.  Overall, maybe the experience of being served from the food truck and the quality of food may be different as compared to the stand alone location. Improvement of quality may come with some changes to preparation.  We really wanted to be blown away, because we were considering the restaurant to cater our wedding. We haven’t given up and would be willing to try dining with Big Cs Waffles again.  I hope this review is taken as constructive criticism, and used to help the business grow and prosper.
