Great food and large portions.  My wife and I have been here a couple of times while visiting Boise.  We have never been disappointed.  It has a very relaxed cafe feel.  Don't expect an intimate quiet meal.  It is loud and very cozy.  You may even share a table with complete strangers.  But that is part of the charm of this place.  I highly recommend Big City Cafe.

I moved away from Boise 22 years ago and thought I would try something "new". Found out Big City Coffee has been open for 17 years. 

Great atmosphere, coffee patrons. I had the biscuits & gravy. Actually it was the "half portion. WAYYYYYY too much. Very tasty, but I think it could have used a bit more gravy. The bacon crumb on top was perfect. 

Looking forward to coming here the next time I am back in my hometown.

Pretty hip place. Trendy. Easy parking. Good selection of food. Friendly and efficient service. Just a nice place to hangout with friends or read a book or just seeing the place come to life.
I had the lemon bars. Huge serving and very delicious.

I had an amazing breakfast. Had a quiche with sun-dried tomato, artichoke and feta which was to die for. Wonder lift crust with a moist egg filling. The salsa with it was one of the best parts. All their fruit tasted sweet and fresh. Their iced latte was prefect for the summer day. Be warned the large is very large. I would have been fine with a medium. I loved my visit at this home rustic coffee shop.

Always have a great experience here. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly, love the vibe and the coffee. It's a great place to take visitors you have in town for brunch!
