Tried Big Ed's barbecue tonight for the first time. We ordered the beef brisket dinner with sides, the pulled pork dinner with sides, and a full slab of baby back ribs with sides. All was excellent, everybody liked what they ordered. The staff was friendly on the phone as well as at pick up, the food was ready as promised. The place looked like fun and very family friendly. There was a small band playing nothing loud just enjoyable. We will definitely be supporting this local business again and often. Keep up the good work, it's working the parking lot was full. Congrats and Thank you !

Friends told us about this place so we thought we would give it a try having moved into the area. I have to honestly say in my 52 years of dining out and trying to find the best barbecue this place is it! I was so impressed with the quality of the food. My wife had rib tips and I had the full slab of ribs. Beautiful smoke ring and fabulous rub. The best I’ve ever had. Up to this point I have enjoyed Portillo’s ribs which I find to be really good. The sides here are excellent as well. Mac & cheese was really cheesy and delicious. The baked beans were terrific. The corn muffins are out of this world. Do yourself a favor and go here... you won’t regret it!!!

Hands down the best Barbecue in Chicago! I travel to Chicago for work and I make sure this is a stop while I am there. Deserts are homemade, food is amazing (my mouth is now watering thinking about it). You get a ton of food for the amount you pay. The staff is great and makes the atmosphere of the restaurant, it feels like you are walking into a friend's house and they are cooking amazing food.

Every time we walk into this BBQ place the smell of the food welcomes you and gets excited about eating. I have never had rib tips tried them here for the first time yummy. I try to always try something different but always get the rib tips. Tried collards for first time yummy. The different sauces are very good. But the meat really does not need the sauce. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Best beef brisket in Illinois...all of the meats were delicious.  The people working there were all happy and made me feel at home. I absolutely loved the collards too. Don t leave without trying the peach cobbler.
