I got hit by a car a bit ago. Hard Tail mtn Bike was fine, but the front wheel was bent a little. Asked these guys if i should replace it. They said no way! Cheaper for me if they just straighten it out. They had a chance to get money out of me right there, but advised the cheaper solution. Also asked for a tune up while they were at it. Not only did they do a better job, but he had several pointers to fix a long standing issue I've had with alignment on the chain. Most of which he did as part of my tune up. Wheel is great now to. Can't tell it was bent. I Absolutely recommend Bike Doctor! My bike is super smooth now. Going to do a 28 mile trail ride this weekend. If don't update the review, it was all good then to. Five stars earned!!

Easily the best bike shop in town. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Make sure to communicate your budget as they are more than willing to find you the right product in your price range.

This is the first time that I have ever felt the need to write a negative review of a business and do not take pleasure in doing so, but others should be warned. I recently brought in a lightly used mountain bike that I brought to the bike doctor and asked them to have it tuned, thoroughly check for safety, and to fix anything that was out of order. When I got the bike back home from the shop I realized that the front suspension was not working at all so I took the bike back to the bike doctor the next day expecting that they would take responsibility for not thoroughly checking that the bike was in working order, though I was still happy to pay full price for it to be fixed. When I showed them that the suspension didn't work I was accused of possibly breaking it myself in the time that I put it in my car and brought it home (keep in mind that I had not yet ridden the bike and it had been less than 24 hours since it had left the shop). I found this to be extremely unlikely and a very rude and ridiculous attempt at evading responsibility for their poor attention to detail. The bike doctor then said that they would fix the suspension but at their own convenience "when they could get to it". After waiting a day with no updates on any work being done to my bike, I ended up picking it up and taking it to another shop. At this point I did not trust that my bike would be properly fixed, or safe to ride down a mountain trail if the bike doctor was responsible for it. When my bike was inspected at the new shop they found that the front derailleurs were crooked and that the chain was dirty and not lubricated, on top of the fact that the front suspension was broken. I called the bike doctor to let them know about all of the issues that the other bike shop had found in an attempt to get a partial refund or acknowledgement; which I believe was not much to ask for since they didn't do their job properly or completely. I was once again met with a defensive attitude, many lame excuses and no apology whatsoever.
