Great, great guy, and super helpful. He closed up shop a couple months ago, he said (so that it'd make it around July 2016), so he could focus on an exciting new business. Best of luck, and thanks for all the help over time, Dan!

Dan is an excellent bike mechanic. He does not (currently) sell bikes. This is purely a service shop. His prices are very fair, and he works hard to get you what you want. He is appropriately creative and value conscious in finding solutions for mechanical or bike-fit problems. Reminds me of the bike shop that I used to go to when I was a kid. (warm, friendly, down to earth, competent, reasonably priced). Dan works on the highest end road equipment and the lowest end kids bike with a smile.

Dan is the man! He is very friendly and down to earth. You can tell he really cares about getting your bike in tip-top shape and the price is always the last of his concern. He is a great teacher too if you want to learn about the specifics with your bike, especially in regards to proper maintenance!

Love Dan, love the shop, love the location. He's tuned and repaired 5 bikes for me and every experience has been great. He has a casual style but he's a top-notch mechanic.

I've been wanting a bike for over a year but was really unhappy with my last one and felt I needed more knowledge and understanding of mechanics and what would be a good fit for me. Plus I don't want to spend a lot of money and would like a used bike. My last bike never seemed quite right for me which eventually led me to sell it so I wanted to get measured correctly. After visiting a few shops in the area and getting the same measurements by asking my height without even getting me on a bike I stumbled upon Dan's business. This guy knows his stuff. He has old school knowledge combined with continued education on what's new and hot and what to stay away from. He shared sound advice regarding the correct size bike for me and took the time to get me on a bike to correctly measure me and he doesn't even sell bikes. That's right, he's a repair guy. I now have a much better understanding of measurements and what's appropriate. My last bike was a 56cm. Dan recommends a 48-49. That's quite a difference. He also showed me various ways a bike can be measured and that a sticker with a measurement size may not even be correct. He advised me on quality resale brand bikes and what brands to avoid. I really appreciate the time he took to educate me. When I find my bike I will be taking it to him for a complete check and tune up. I would also like to mention that while I was there...several people came in to drop off or pick up repair items.
