This place is incredible. I recently moved to spring Branch and walked in with a little panic about my fish and Mr. Bird Dog & Cat Fish jumped right into action. I brought my parents the next day for a pain aide for their dogs and he assisted them greatly too with a hemp oil that the dogs have responded greatly to. I will never go to petco again. Now- his wife has that kind of personality that you’ve got to break through to get a smile but overall she’s helpful. If you have a choice always go here! ALWAYS.

Local and convenient for all my supplies, I have enjoyed coming here for over two years now. I have bought nearly everything for my planted fresh water tank from here as well as other supplies for my four legged pets (2 dogs and a cat). When it is time to do water changes, this is my first stop as they sell fresh (and salt) RO water. Whenever I am looking for a specialty plants or fish they have been more than accommodating and the prices are not outrageous. Its also nice to go somewhere where you are recognized and have rapport with the owners.

Nice selection of freshwater plants and fish.... The saltwater fish and coral in their show tanks were breathtaking.

I recommend this pet store. Locally owned, knowledgeable people, and they will go the extra mile to make sure your pet thrives.   Great variety of products too.  I am glad to have Bird Dog Cat Fish close to home. Definitely go here over the big box generic chain stores!
