There are good meals, and there dinning experiences. For context, I have worked in food and bar service in New York for four years, and my night at Bisl was one of the single greatest dinning experiences of my life and easily the best meal I've ever had in Montana.

Dave, the owner and executive chef, took my reservation. He talked through my evening, from the dietary needs of having a vegan in our group, to the types of wines we favored. Keep in mind, when I called he was well into his prep work for that evenings dinner service. But he also took the time to come talk to our table the night while we were dining.

The food is spectacular. While you may have to wait a few minutes for a table (at 49 seats, it's a smaller space) I promise you that it is well worth the wait.

Nice restaurant for dinner.  I had two hors d'oeuvre for $20.  Small portions but nice quality and taste.  The space holds 49 people with downtown Bozeman brick for the walls.

This restaurant is just what Bozeman needs! Fun, exciting, chef driven food. Their menu (food and wine) is the most unique you will find in Bozeman, and surrounding area. They are ahead of the curve, offering big city flare in a small town. Our party tried several items off the menu and we all loved every bite. Can't wait to make Bisl a regular stop. So glad we tried it. 

Ps. If you have a chance to sit at the bar, do it! They have an open kitchen and watching the chefs in action was such a great experience. They enjoyed chatting with us as much as we did, and we learned a lot about food.
