I love this place! The food is flavorful and awesome, filled with African flavors and good size portion. At lunch there is an all you can eat buffet with chicken and three different sauces, try them all! You won't be disappointed. If I'm ordering off the menu, I like the seafood coco. The juices are also on point. If you like ginger, you will love the juice with ginger in it. If you're into cocktails the sedem is my favorite.

Bissap Baobab should be an icon by now in the bay area. Plates are easy to eat and nice african vibes. My only knock on Bissap is that as soon as they open in Oakland they started charging for the party before even fully establishing themselves. As a result of them charging, Layover started to charge for an entrance fee after 10PM. But I will always go to Bissap for a quick bite. I never been disappointed in that aspect. I will always support black business regardless. But Mad big up to bissap for expanding to the east bay.

Had the lunch buffet. Buffet was very meager and very expensive (including tax, $16.33). Didn't get a server during the time I was there so didn't even get a glass of water. Lots of better places for cheaper.
