Bistro 45 is an authentic New American and French-style cuisine restaurant that encompasses both a traditional and contemporary setting. Located in the heart of Pasadena, we create rustic dishes while always featuring the freshest ingredients and organic products. Our chef is dedicated to providing all guests with signature dishes that pair greatly with our extensive wine and beer list. Amazing restarant !! Exceeds expectations in the character and quality of both the food and the staff. Perfect for an elegant date or a cozy celebration. Street parking could be tough, but they have valet out front. I'd tell you what to order, but whatever sounds good will be.

This is a seriously quality place, with excellent service. I had the pasta du chef, and the three of us split the (roasted?) calamari appetizer - wow, it was good. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the calamari was tasty without being unpleasantly chewy. Valet parking only ran us $5, plus a small tip, too, which was handy - in that part of town, parking can be difficult to find - and very reasonably priced for the same. Our bill, for three entrees, the one app, and a few glasses of wine, came out to ~$180 - so, not an everyday place but great for a special occasion.

I have been to this restaurant dozens of times for special occasions in the last 25 years. It's top of the Line quality and service. Great for a very special night.

DO NOT B0OK THIS RESTARUART FOR A SMALL PRIVATE PARTY...I had a small but special family party planned for 12 people and called over a month ahead and was told that they could put us in an area that would be almost private (three walls). I let them know that I wanted something that would be quiet as several people in our group were hard of hearing. I even went by the restaurant several weeks before and was shown an area where they would put us that could be separated with a curtain. The night we got there we were in a totally different area with other tables all around us and half of our party could not hear well because of all of the noise from other tables. The food was good but the expected atmosphere for what was planned was the worst.

We enjoyed our meal there. Great food (roasted veggie salad, duck breast, salmon) and service. We were confused about their Hors d'Oeuvres menu which turns out only for large groups. But the owner/manger was very kind and offered us a slice of pizza to try which was really yummy.
