Let's cut to the point - this place is friendly as can be! I've been here three times now, to have a good idea over what I can say about it. One of the times was including take out as well so I can give my opinion over that as well. The food 4.1/5 - it's good but could be better. I've experienced some very tasty salsa and the chips are fresh and you can tell from the way they taste. Take out is super easy. Quick and friendly service.

I had not been here for a while and don't know why! I love this place. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa, margarita, then of course the food. The chips should be fresh (you would think this goes without saying but....) and the salsa should be flavorful (not so spicy hot that it burns your face off and wrecks your taste buds so you can't taste your meal) and Mijares passes that test with flying colors!! Next up is the margarita, this is served in a finely blended nature so it is more like an adult sluurpie, with a good balance of flavor and alcohol. test two passed! I ordered a #2 combo that was served hot and I managed to scrape the plate clean with out having to lick it which is good because that would have been highly embarrassing!! This place deserves it's five stars!!!

Enjoyed my experience here. Aura, atmosphere and surroundings was warm and comforting. The staff was attentive and friendly. My hubby loved his shrimps. My rib eye was well seasoned and tender. Super smiling!

Good food, plenty of parking, I've had better though. They do server alcohol, setting is nice (4/5) dated, can use a remodel. When ordering make sure they understand what you want, because they got 3 out of 4 orders wrong

Great parking. Great atmosphere. Decent prices. Great Mexican food. I am vegan and love the veggies fajitas without dairy. So good!
