Once one of my favorite places this restaurant has slipped.  We went as a party of 6. First they wouldn't let us split our checks because gratuity is included on parties of 6. I guess customers can't be trusted to tip properly.  I wanted to bring my own wine but the outrageous corkage fee was $40! Simply ridiculous. The server (I think Kimberly) was nice but programmed. She lacked personality and was distant and overly formal. Now to the food. Yes it's very good but one person in our party was given something other than what he ordered (lasagna) but got something instead like an inside out calzone. I still don't know exactly what it was and the owner didn't explain the substitution well nor did he give our party member a choice. Price wise Bistro Baffi is expensive, $30+ per dinner. Like I said it's good but it's not that good. The owner Mike is friendly but a bit eccentric.  He likes to visit tables but he impulsively assumed we were all sharing the same wines and without asking he rushed to our table once and started pouring more wine that some of us didn't want and he mixed wines by pouring one couple's wine into another couple's glasses.  Finally there is no air.  So if you attend in summer,  prepare to sweat out your dinner.

My husband and I really enjoy Bistro Baffi. The food is consistently delicious, service is good, and the chef usually makes it by the tables to make sure everything is ok. He is adorable, and has the best moustache in the land. My only complaint is that the serving sizes seem to have gotten smaller over the few years we have been patrons, and it is quite spendy for the size. The quality remains excellent, though.

Delicious italian food in a unpretentious location. Amazing authentic Italian food from an Italian chef/owner the way it should be! Friendly staff and 5 star food!

Bistro Baffi is the only Italian Restaurant I will ever step foot in, I've been coming to Birtro for 8 years, it is by far the best most fresh food I have ever eaten in my life. The quality of the food has never been less of perfect and the atmosphere is amazing a nice small and personal restaurant with amazing Italian owners.

Lovely! Excellent food, good wine, great service. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because I was so cold. There's a whole wall of windows and tables are right next to them, so in the fall/winter, I was shivering and warming my hands by the votive. But otherwise, a seriously great place!
