The food is good and the decor tasteful. The street on which its tables spread out to is quiet and clean. But the owner (Ali?) who served me gave off the vibe that he was doing me a favor for letting me eat here. He was much more friendly to the other guests. If it weren't for that I would give this place at least 4 stars. Not coming back.

Bistro Vida has a real Parisian sidewalk bistro feel, especially on a warm summer night. The tuna on the salad Nicoise was perfectly seared. Nice wine list.

This well decorated restaurant makes you feel like you're in a Parisian bistro. The menu brings back nostalgia of Paris-trips past, and the quality of the food is very solid. Servings are a little on the larger side, but they are definitely still appropriate (especially for the price). The wine list is solid, and the service fairly good. I like this place and plan on going back, especially for a date night.

I was disappointed by this place. We had 2 glasses of Sancerre ($15 a glass), a side of mushrooms and fries. For a high end place, the fries seemed like they were frozen and the service was not attentive at all. We asked for a table outside, but were told it was all reserved even though multiple tables were empty. When we left 45 minutes later, there were multiple empty tables outside. I won't be coming back.

Our favorite restaurant. Best French food in menlo park. Lovely new patio with great service and ambiance.
