Truly a treasure of Greeley Colorado. For my entire life I have enjoyed walking around the path surrounding the lake so I may watch the geese. When I became a mother I found such a joy in sharing this spot with my own children as I remembered my mother sharing them with me. Also, I adore the veterans memorial they have. A peaceful place to walk and reflect.

For Greeley parks, this sets a high bar! 1.5 mile paved loop around the park! You'll see families on bikes, joggers, dog walkers, etc. Bittersweet is a great, safe place to get some exercise and not worry about crossing any busy intersections. It features a basketball court, playground, and a picnic area. It's nestled against a quiet neighborhood on the west side which can extend your jogging route and still stay safe. Unfortunately, Greeley does not allow dogs inside the park, but can use the path the surrounds the park. I still gave it a 5-star because Greeley doesn't allow dogs in any public parks. Compared to Greeley's other parks, Bittersweet is a 5-star. Compared to other communities that allow dogs in parks, I'm sure users would rate it lower.

Beautiful Park. The lake is beautiful and relaxing to sit by. The park has great amenities and it has a lot of offer. I love walking the path.

Super fun park. Great place to bring the kids! There is a trail that is 1.2 Mi long that goes around the lake, and there is a playground that is huge for kids and there's also grilling stations within those playgrounds with a huge structure (3) so if it starts raining you're okay. There are also clean public restrooms! (CLOSED IN WINTER) but there is a porta potty in the winter at the parking lot!

Pretty park. Great walking path around, it's about 1.2 miles around one time. Good play area especially for older kids and younger kids which is rare to find. There was is a pond, small lake as well as a memorial to soliders. Giving 4 stars because sometimes I question the part of town it's in. I'd like to think it's super safe but don't think it is as much as it used to be.
