A nice location and good sized spots, well manged, but only one bathroom for the whole campground. This is OK if you have an RV or trailer with a toilet, but it can be a VERY long walk to the bathroom depending on where your site is if you do not have your own toilet. Although the privacy is good, it's not good enough that you'd want to dig a cat-hole to relieve yourself. On top of that, I only found out after I visited that the only water is in a tank near the entrance. I didn't see it when I was there and so assumed it was a dry camp. This campground is surrounded by many dispersed free camping spots. I usually camp in pay campgrounds because of the water and toilets. I don't see the point of paying to camp here unless you can get a site near the entrance where the toilet and water are located.

This place would be ideal except that it is located between two very heavily used forest service roads which have ATVs running day and night. During the day (weekend) they run past every 5 minutes or so, very loud and raising a cloud of dust. At night they are less often, but roar by as late as 2am! We left after two nights and won't be back, not our idea of camping

The only think that would make this better is a lake next to it. There is a small one a few miles away. Staff is excellent! Bathroom is well kept.
