I live in an older home that has only dim lighting, and zero lights in the family room.  I had Black Diamond come and put six canned lights in.  From quote to finish they were friendly and accommodating. The customer service was good and the work went smoothly.  They had to cut in to my walls but were very upfront about exactly what they would be doing. They made sure I approved can placement before making the cuts into the ceiling. 
We have vary much enjoyed the result of their work. The new lighting makes the room feel both bigger and newer.
What I paid them was higher than other quotes I had gotten, but I'm happy with the quality work.

Great work - but very expensive!!!  I have used Black Diamond quite a bit in the last two years as we bough a fixer upper.  In this market, it is difficult to find good contractors and I know that when I call them I am always going to get top notch work.  That said, I have another electrician that I use when I do not have urgent need that does the same quality work for half the price.  I am thrilled with the work they did, but $400 for a switch and two plugs - in my opinion - is very pricey.  I give them 5 stars for quality - but I would not describe them as an "exceptional value".

The entire team at Black Diamond is top notch. From the friendly, professional greeting when you call, to the very knowledgeable estimator, to the expert installation crew, you will not be disappointed.
I've utilized Black Diamond twice, once for electric and most recently for plumbing, and it's been a positive experience both times. Both times we ran into some unexpected bumps, but the crews took them in stride and solved those issues without skipping a beat. You'll be extremely happy you called them.

I had several plumbing problems that needed fixing before my open house.  I was impressed with the technician that came out and did a thorough job inspecting what needed fixing.  Another technician came out the next day and did the work.  Later I noticed one of the problems continued.  The company responded quickly and came back right away and fixed the problem.  They even had to drive to a supply shop for a part but did not charge me for their time or the needed items.  Thanks Black Diamond for fixing my water worries so quickly.  Very courteous office staff as well!

Chris came out to my house in a timely manner.  On first inspection he suggested that the problem may be a burned out motor.  But he opened up the unit and performed a close inspection.  Upon that inspection he found that the problem was a burned out capacitor, an inexpensive part on hand.  A few minutes later, the unit was up and running perfectly, as it has been ever sense.

What I feared could be an expensive proposition turned out to be a quick, very reasonable effort - well worth the call.  Chris is great - professional, knowledgeable, friendly.  I'll definitely call back if I encounter any HVAC issues in the future.
