Story

Established in 1934 as a tavern in the small town of Three Lakes, WI, the Black Forest Pub & Grille has a history as charming as its looks.

Designed and built by the famed Fred "Cy" Williams, the Black Forest has hosted visitors from all over the world. At one time, the building housed a bowling alley.

The ambiance of the Black Forest Pub & Grille can be summed up in one word: Gemütlichkeit (Ge-müt-lich-keit). This means, guests can expect a friendly and unhurried dining experience in a cozy, comfortable setting.

The building's original barroom continues to welcome travelers near and far, offering a good drink and friendly service.

The newly remodeled dining room serves burgers, pizzas, seafood, steaks, soups and salads with an assortment of German specialties and homemade desserts freshly made from scratch daily.

The game room provides a social space to catch up with old friends over a game of billiards or tune in to the big game on TV.
