Such a great burger!! And I’ve tried many places, this is one of the best. The made your own version is so good, the freshness of the avocado perfectly balancing the rest. The organic egg perfectly cooked, the patties perfectly cooked… heaven in your palate!Food: 5/5
FOOD: much better than other "new york best" places. • The Epic Burger: very tasty, patty is medium rare and juicy, lots of onion ring in there. • The Masterpiece: great portion, flavorful. The buns are soft and airy but not mushy and can hold the weights of toppings, it means that's good quality buns. • Coleslaw: might not good for some people as it not creamy enough but for me it's great for having less calories. • Sweet Potato Fries: I inhaled it as it was so good, right level of crispy, thickness, salt. SERVICE: we came in when there's no one there, got the table and food right away. Waitress did great job. VIBE: classic sport bar vibe.
Super amazing service! Fast and delicious hamburger, also good beer, and everything at an affordable price. I loved the place and I think these might be the best hamburgers I've ever had. Also I forgot a bag and they kept it safe for several hours until I came back
Saw the good reviews and stopped in with a coworker for lunch. Cool spot atmosphere wise with a bar in the back. Seated promptly and drinks brought fairly quickly with the restaurant about half full on a Tuesday afternoon. Plenty of options on the menu, and I did the build your own burger with 2 patties, cheddar cheese, regular bacon, and the spicy mayo along with an order of onion rings and a Diet Coke. The burger was oddly flavorless and just noting special to write home about. The onion rings were flimsy, soggy, and looked like something I would have made when I was first learning to cook. My coworker got the Mushroom Truffle Burger and thought his was similarly bland. My biggest problem with the place is the price for the result. $35 plus tip for a bland lunch. I’d rather have payed half the price at the smash burger place around the corner 7the st burger for a more enjoyable product. Not worth a second visit.
Food was good as was the service. Highly recommend! But! E need to differentiate the restrooms!! I really don’t like not knowing which restroom belongs to men/women when both doors are prepared open with 2 stalls in each. Just my opinion. Drinks were good!!Food: 5/5
I visited Black Iron Burger on Monday night with my friend Ricardo. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to poor service from our initial waiter. When we arrived, the white waiter with a black cap was hesitant to seat us. After finally seating us, he ignored us for almost 25 minutes, not even giving us menus or water. During this time, he prioritized white families and individuals who arrived after us, serving them food and drinks before we even had a chance to order. If you’re a person of color or have a certain level of melanin, be aware that you might be treated poorly by this particular waiter with the cap. Thankfully, Celeste, a Hispanic female server, noticed our situation and took our order. She checked in on us throughout the meal and provided excellent service. Near the end, the initial waiter tried to take over again, assuming he would get the check. However, we spoke to a manager, who appeared to be Southeast Asian, and made sure Celeste received the credit she deserved. Despite Celeste's great service, the initial waiter's behavior was unacceptable. I hope Black Iron Burger addresses this issue to ensure all customers are treated equally.
if you're looking for a local burger bar that feels and fits like a good pair of work gloves; you know the type, nothing fancy, but solid and you can count on them, then this place is your hangout. I'd come back with a friend or two, just to forget the office for a minute. maybe a little jaded from West Coast Burger restaurants that are more corporate than character. at least here is more character. the food reflects that character, even from their motto on their menu.
Today I tried the black iron burger & mushroom truffle burger, both burgers arrived looking appetizing This place is a great choice for anyone looking for a delicious, well-made burger according to their high quality beef patties and sauces Highly recommended!! Raymond was a great server and truly made my experience enjoyable
The meat is great! We had the American and the Masterpiece burger the name couldn’t be more appropriate! The staff is excellent! No matter how busy the restaurant is they always find the time to talk to you and help! 10/10 experience! Thank you to Ray and Olivia for making our experience amazing!Food: 5/5
A Cozy Burger Gem in Midtown While being on a business trip in New York, I had the pleasure of visiting Black Iron Burger in New York on a whim, and I'm glad I did. The place is nice and cozy, perfect for a solo diner like myself. I walked in without a reservation in the late afternoon, and I was seated promptly. I ordered fries, a burger, and a Lager beer. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, a perfect appetizer. But the real star of the show was the burger - an absolute masterpiece as the name suggested. The patty was juicy, thanks to the fresh meat and onions, and every bite was a delight. I must mention that the prices are on the higher side, but that's expected in Midtown, New York. Despite this, I would definitely visit Black Iron Burger again. It's a great spot for a casual, delicious meal. Highly recommended!
