I came here with a friend and we loved it. We tried the iced Mexican Mocha and it was delicious; I am also glad they have non-dairy milk options! The place also seems great for college students to work on assignments/study. Friendly staff as well!
I went on the Grand Opening and it was very organized! Everyone seemed nice, and though the line was long it went by pretty fast. I ordered an iced Blackout, which was pretty good! I'm excited about this place. Will definitely go again this week for their opening specials.
I have been to Black Rock coffee 3 times now, first time I tried iced Mexican mocha, second was holiday peppermint hot latte, & iced Irish cream latte. The Mexican mocha was hands down my favorite so far and the reason I’ve gone back to try more. Raven is absolutely the best employee, they always make me feel welcome, remember me with a smile and don’t mind recommending drinks because I am so indecisive, thank you again for your awesome customer service every time, definitely a huge reason why I support any business.
1st visit, e930am on Saturday, has a very “Austin-eee” feel. Coffee was good. My usual was $1 less than at Starbucks. Lots of cement flooring and walls that create a very noisy environment, needs acoustical dampening. Definitely will go back.
First time here and tried the black out it was pretty good. It’s like hazelnut coffee per their recommendation. Will definitely come back to try diff flavors.
Came for the first time to try it out and my order unfortunately was wrong. Ordered a regular brewed coffee and received something completely different. Also got a blue berry muffin which was very tasty. I’ll try them again and I’ll make sure to check my coffee before I leave the drive thru.
Caramel Blondie is wicked good! If you love gourmet coffee, you'll enjoy the unique blend of rich creamy coffee at #BlackRockCoffeeBar! - UniquelyD
This is my new favorite coffee spot. The first time I came here, we enjoyed our coffee inside. The leather seats are large and comfy. The next day, we went through the drive-through. Both times, the service was great. Other coffee spots you can taste more sugar and missing the coffee flavor. This location I purchased the Mexican, hot. My sister had a black coffee and said that it was a great cup of coffee. Now she is a huge fan. I highly recommend you give it a try. Both times I went, I did not purchase any food. If you find this review helpful, please let me know.
The coffee was excellent! I had an Irish creme coffee and it was wonderfully creamy and tasty. The only reason for 4 stars is that the staff were a little fussy/rude when we moved the tables to accommodate our group of 7. We moved them back before we left but almost seemed like it was an issue for them. Overall, I'd go again - the coffee and chill atmosphere was really nice!
Its ok. We got one the other day and usually they're pretty good but it was xl caramel truffle cold drip… tasted like cream only no coffee… so we brought it back and then they made it iced and didn't adjust pricing cuz they charge extra for the cold drip, i dont like hot coffee but i dont like watered down and they seriously water it down with either milk or ice… I attached a pic after i dug the ice out… im seriously disappointed. Im a serious caffeine addict and i drink an xl 1-2 tikes daily. But i dont think ill be back again…
