We rented a total of 8 tuxedos and more than half of them had something wrong with them. Either it was short sleeves (and I mean SHORT) or the shirts were WAY to wide and even one pair of shoes fell apart during church. We tried calling the owner to let him know about the issue and he never even tried to return the call. We were never compensated for anything. I would really not recommend this place to anyone.

Used black tie for our wedding and were so happy! 
The first thing that sold me was the pricing, they are SO much cheaper than men's warehouse. They have a great selection too so you are not losing quality with the cheaper price! The second thing that sold me was the owner. He is so knowledgeable and helpful. He kept me informed of which groomsmen hadn't been in so we could keep on them and there was no last minute problems!  Definitely give them a try!

I would like to thank Black Tie Formal Wear for providing a great service over the past 18 years to Santa Paula, maybe even  longer?  I have been doing business with Black Tie Formal wear for over 16 years with them myself. I have been a repeat customer over the past few years as they provided  me with tuxedos for my proms, wedding, family weddings and now for my son as a ring bearer this past weekend. The owner(Greg) is very nice and professional. I would highly recommend Black Tie Formal Wear to anyone. Keep up the good service at  Black Tie Formal Wear and again thank you for the great service!

HI every one, well the review i wrote before was not fair.  i shouldn't have written  that review.  there was a misunderstood    between the owner and me.  i talked to the owner and we fixed any kind of problem we had.  so, everything  is good now, please do not pay attention to the review i wrote before.

We have had several events in the past 2 years and they have delivered. This last was my son's wedding in Vegas this past weekend. We saved a bunch getting them here and taking them to Vegas. They wanted twice the amount or more. Great selection and has 2 stores to pull from so he has tux's. Why go to ventura, check them out.
