Very dissapointed with this establishment today. To start I've been here before and loved the place, so I decided to return today for lunch. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a couple of drinks.  Noted that I was on lunch break and was told that was fine. Well 30 min later, no food and only 4 tables occupied with a handful of people at the bar. Shouldn't have been that bad, but it was. Waitress never checked on us, had to go up to the bar to see what was taking so long and to request our order to go. Waited another few minutes for everything.  Got back to work and found that what we had ordered was wrong.  Instead of 2 cheeseburgers - 1 medium and the other medium rare. Nope we get one that is well done with bacon, onion rings on top with barbecue sauce, and the second just plain well done. Bummed to say the least, not sure if I'll return even with new ownership and a re-opening.

Oh man. Where do I start with respect to articulating how much I love this place?? 

The staff and ownership: Second to NONE. Zack, Bambi, Natalie, Susan and the rest of the crew are literally some of the best people on this planet! So kind and welcoming....whenever I go in for a  delicious, refreshing beverage ('around the bend' is my current favorite), or the fantastic food, I literally feel like I'm at home. 

Seriously, the food and beer are no joke. So, SO good on both accounts. Unless you don't have an appreciation for a kind, professional, fun-loving staff and great food and beer, you NEED to make this a regular stop. If I could make this a mandate, I would.

So I've only been here once, and I was there for probably an hour or so for a friends birthday. I sampled a couple beers, they were both amazing, we smacked on some fries and chips, they were also amazing, the staff was awesome and the environment was very relaxed and friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had a serious allergic reaction to SOMETHING here. I eat like a garbage disposal and have never had any food allergies, no tree product allergies(like hops or any fruits or anything) but something here managed to put me on my ass, sniffly nose, tight hot chest, the whole deal. I'll probably come back in the future because they're good and I'm hoping it was some kind of fluke, but I couldn't give it 5 stars as I left here and felt like dying.

Disappointed.  Took a long time to place an order. Took a long time to get beer. Took a long time to get brats and a pretzel. Never got the salad. Brought the brats with no mustard and we had eaten half of it before they broght the mustard. Definitely dont expect to get a salad here. Frustrating. Oh. It's not Black Vinyl. It's a new place.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent beer. Not sure about weekends but Thursday night here is perfect.
