Blake Austin College’s mission is to provide each student a quality educational experience in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence. Our hands-on approach supports the student from the introduction of training through the employment process. We are dedicated to provide educational programs that are relevant to current employment demands.

If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. I completed the program at Blake Austin College for cosmetology. First off, this school is a complete MIRAGE. It's a beautiful school and you can tell they invested a lot of money into making the school LOOK awesome, but as far as education, this school is awful. The whole point of cosmetology school is to prepare you for your state board exam.... this school did the exact opposite. We prepped for state board ONCE! If it wasn't for me, studying on my own and running through state board on my own, and asking other graduates who passed their test, I would've failed. There were times where I missed out on important state board information/classes because I was busy with clients, when I should've been blocked off. I completed all of my practicals for haircuts and hair colors, yet, that's exactly what they would book me for when I should've been getting state board prep... I truly felt like I was just there to make the school money, and none of the staff cared about my education, which should've came first. They've double booked me for hair colors several times, in which I've had to stay past my scheduled hours (8 hour days) making it a total of about 9 1/2 hours, which included no lunch, only to get my time card at the end of the month to see that they messed with my hours. They clocked me out for lunches I did not take and I've even had issues with them saying I was absent for the entire day when I was definitely clocked in for a total of 9 hours... save your money and go to solano.. the tuition for this school is outrageously expensive, for education that is not nearly worth that amount. The owner is awful, extremely rude and doesn't care about the students. She only cares if the school is clean. Save your money. The school is a scam. I would never want another student to go through what I went through.

I had a wonderful experience. Meagan was very nice, and did a beautiful job. My hair looks good and was done at a good price! The inductors were also great and very informative. I do wish people were more chatty. You get a little bored with just sitting there while your hair is being done and processing. But other than that it was a great experience. Defiantly coming back!

I had a balayage done by Blake Faulkner. It come out amazing! He is a very caring and percise person when it comes to your hair. I recommend him for color and cuts. I've been coming to Blake Faulkner for all my hair needs, and have always been satisfied with his work! He will never leave you unhappy.
