DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! I went in with one problem and came out with many. I take great care of my car but this one time i was too lazy to go to my regular mechanic. And Oh boy oh boy did i pay for that mistake. Went to get new tires and came out needing a new car. The tires was fine but they loosened up so much stuff on my car, in hopes that i come back and give them more business. I had just checked the fluids on my car before i took it there and everything was fine. I checked it again after i took my car to Blatt Tire & Auto and now it's no antifreeze. I fill it up and the antifreeze just pours out from the bottom of the car. My car had a smooth ride before I took it to Blatt Tire & Auto and now it's like I'm on a wooden roller coaster. My tires wobble so much now when they NEVER did before. Yes they tried to tell me that i need tie rods on both sides and it just dawned on me, no i didn't. My car NEVER EVER shook before. And my regular mechanic would of told me when i got my oil changed. Now i gotta pay another mechanic to get my car repaired. I'm NOT taking it back to Blatt Tire & Auto Repair. I don't have money to burn. And the counter guys up front are VERY unprofessional. Talking very loudly when you're right in front of them. NEVER AGAIN.

Tom's Automotive is an Elkins Park treasure. We've been using Tom's for over fifteen years, bringing six different vehicles to the shop during that time. Have turned several neighbors on to this reliable, friendly, reasonable and competant auto service center over the years. The bottom line is that the customer gets prompt, honest, good work at a fair price. The bonus is that the place is run by a warm, smart guy with a witty style who happens to be quite an animal lover: witness the parrots and tropical fish adorning his little office space. You won't be disappointed.

Incredibly helpful and quick. They fit me in when my tire literally exploded on my way to school and I still managed to get out fast enough to make it to class. The only reason I took away a star is the one guy who is mentioned in other posts as well. Besides him, they are all wonderful.

They were quick and courteous. They suggested which tire would be beneficial for the price I can afford.

I have been a customer at Blatt Tire for about 4 years. Ken has always taken great care of me and I felt like I received honest service. I was very disappointed to hear that the store is closed on Saturdays. I am unable to come to the service station any longer due to work and child care issues. I am in search of a new honest and caring service station and hope that I am able to find one.
