Made last minute reservation for myself and 2 friends while staying at the W for the weekend. Was very excited they were able to accommodate us last minute! The facility is just ok. There is a steam room to use yet the womens lounge area is missing the lounge part. The seats are very stiff and would be better to have somewhere to put up your feet instead of everyone using the center table where your food and drinks go. My facial was amazing!! Very thorough and relaxing. I love Bliss products and hope to try another location in the future.

What a shame they go to all the trouble to create amazing spa treatments, then drop the ball at ambience. Certainly, people can part with their cell phones for AN HOUR? Not so with the patrons at the Bliss Spa -- texting during pedicures and in lobbies while other women are trying to relax is well, simply rude. Loved the deep tissue massage from Noke -- an outstanding massage therapist -- and the pedicure from Sorya (sp?) was amazing and lasted 3 weeks -- despite the woman texting next to me with her two cell phones on her toweled lap, the entire time. Unfortunately, corporate policy allows for cell phones to leave lockers as long as they are on silent. It's a shame, spas are for relaxation from all that need for hyperconnectivity...and what other people do affects us all.

Meh. Snacks and water were great but probably the least attractive manicure I've ever had in DC. Super judgey technician who bad mouthed other salons and preached pseudoscience about how much bacteria grows in jet footbaths (you won't find those here.). Maybe it's the fact that there is near no light in there, but she left so much polish on my cuticles I'll have to go elsewhere to have it touched up. Asked to switch to shellac and she said no because she put lotion on my hands already... which made no sense since she then proceeded to put polish on my super greased up hands.

I went to Bliss Spa for a mani/pedi with my mom the day before my wedding because some lovely co-workers gifted me with a certificate here. Our technician was Lucinda, and she was super sweet, super laid back, and she did a FANTASTIC job on our nails. Unfortunately the spa couldn't have our nail appointments at the same time, so they were back to back, and we spent about 3 hours there. But, the environment is very relaxing, they have tea and snacks, and a cozy little lounge with a "locker room" as well. Loved the pampering experience!
