I came here for the first time for brunch on a Sunday with some friends I was visiting in Charlotte. The atmosphere was nice and I loved the giant wooden tables. Service was also good. I ordered the chicken and waffles which which looked delicious but they were just ok in my opinion. The chicken was very crispy but the waffle was nothing special. The red pepper infused syrup was a nice touch. I would come back to try their dinner options.

First time I went I got the chicken and waffles.  It was great.  Went back a couple of weeks later and got the same.  It was terrible. The chicken was mostly rock hard breading and they skimped on the syrup too. We were extremely disappointed because we thought we found a new favorite.

The food is exceptional, as is the service. Also, the prices are reasonable.  Block is one of our favorite restaurants.

I have never had a bad meal here. The wait staff is courteous and prompt. The restaurant has a great feel; Slightly upscale but still casual. This has quickly become my go-to restaurant. Their version of chicken and waffles is amazing, along with the crab cakes. Highly recommend!

Food was fantastic beautiful atmosphere and the food came out quickly. Staff was very welcoming. A little on the pricey side but the shrimp and grits were well worth it!
