Story

Blooms by Essential Details is a full service florist, gift and home décor shop located at 111 West Main Street in historic Downtown Lagrange. Blooms opened for business on Oldham County Day in 2007 and celebrated our 5th birthday by relocating to our current location. Our move was funded in part with funds awarded by winning 1st Place in the Oldham County Chambers Business Plan Contest in March of 2012. We are housed in a 3000 sq. ft. renovated turn of the century building which provides the perfect atmosphere for our artsy, fresh, floral arrangements, unique gifts and ever changing collection of home accents. Our shop hours are 9-5 M, T, W, F and 9-4 on Sat. On Thursdays we have extended shop hours of 9-7. All floral products and gift baskets as well as most gift and home décor items are available by phone (502.222.1626) and can be delivered within our delivery area. We are a member of the Teleflora network and can serve our customers by wiring flowers nationwide. We offer free decorative packaging on smaller items and custom billing options for corporate accounts. In addition to birthday, sympathy, retirement and everyday floral designs, we have extensive experience in event floral design. We frequently work in tandum with our sister company, Essential Details, to offer complete event design and management along with various rental items, thus Blooms is valuable resource for a variety of corporate functions.
