Awesome atmosphere. We chose to sit right on the beach and had a great view. It was around sunset and we got to watch the boats go by and enjoy a rather delicious meal. Drinks were pretty good. Food was above average. Service was a bit slow but we weren't in any rush at all. Would definitely go again if I'm in the area.

It was okay. Food was average, service was very slow. We were there on a Wednesday Night at 6:30pm. We were one of two tables seated in the place. Service should've been much quicker.

This was an unexpected wonderful surprise! We're at our place in the Lakes Region every summer and always looking for new restaurant options. We'd driven by the Naswa Resort many times without even noticing that they had a restaurant. They do and it is a find! The Blue Bistro is a funky trip back to the 50s in terms of the music playing in the background with wonderful service and really EXCELLENT food. The chef was for many years the executive chef at the famed Boston restaurant, Locke-Ober. What you get at the Blue Bistro is Locke-Ober food and service in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire! My husband and I each ordered a starter salad (one beet, one caesar); they were both large and excellent. I then had the salmon (again, excellent) and he ordered the seafood-stuffed haddock. Normally, restaurants cut the cost of this item by filling the stuffing with bread because it's cheap. Here, the haddock is actually stuffed with lobster, lots of lobster, and the prices are very reasonable. It is guaranteed that we will return here now that we know what we have been missing for the past number of summers.
