Very poor quality material and delivery service with lots of damage but no response on calling or emailing! I ordered the furniture on February 12, 2023, with the assurance that it would be delivered within 3 months. In May, I contacted Blue Moon regarding the delivery, and they were unable to provide a date. They sent me grey-color furniture that wouldn’t fit my home as a temporary replacement and a table full of scratches, which my husband disliked. Despite calling and emailing them to repair the damage or provide me with the furniture I asked for, my attempts to rectify the situation, they failed to address the issue. When I asked them to give my money back, they declined. Subsequent attempts to resolve the matter directly with the store's management were met with unresponsiveness and disrespect. Sylvia, the owner of the Blue moon emporium replied very rudely and she stopped communicating with me afterwards saying that you are not even allowed to visit the store. They asked a lawyer, Elizabeth Pappas, to communicate with me regarding the furniture. After waiting for months, my furniture was eventually delivered on December 12th, with a subpar quality. The high density foam that I ordered was not there. The couch foam was poor quality and was already sunken at the time of delivery of furniture. I called bluemoon and sent them the pictures, with no response on repair or replacement. The expensive custom ordered furniture that I ordered was not the one delivered when I clearly mentioned it should contain a high density foam.
Lots of neat unique items made locally. The owner is amazing and gives great gift ideas. The stock is ever changing so I keep going back!
I love this locally owned store. The owner is super kind and a talented artist. I love buying gifts at Blue Moon. There are fun local items, jewelry, tshirts, and a ton of handmade items. I love the small art pieces to send to my family. There are funny Wisconsin only gifts too. It is peaceful and comfortable to look around the store.
I love the unique items at Blue Moon Emporium. The store has a lovely set up. The owner is extremely nice. The prices are very reasonable. There is a lot of merchdise that focuses on Appleton or Wisconsin. There is a variety of artisans that have their products for sale there. Here is a picture of little animals we are collecting. How unique! The other picture is from a local artisan. The necklace is made with a spoon.
It is a cute collection of local and Wisconsin products. Unfortunately, there is a lot of scented products in a very small space. Not a place to go if you have allergies or are sensitive to strong smells. I would have liked to look and linger longer, but it was too much especially for the member of our group with allergies.
If you're looking for a unique gift, this is the place to shop! They have a diverse range of Wisconsin-related gifts, including postcards, stickers, pottery, and much more! I enjoyed the large selection of postcards and drawings of local landmarks.
This place is an Appleton treasure! A fantastic little shop with a delightful collection of art and curios and gifts and more! You will not be able to go into this shop and not leave with something! They support and feature a ton of local artists and have something for everyone. They also have done a wonderful job to keep their staff and customers safe during the pandemic. Shop small! Support your community!
Favorite downtown Appleton shop! This is the best place to find beautifully made, local artwork/gifts. There is literally something for everyone here! They have done an amazing job making people feel safe during the pandemic by limiting the number of people in the store and requiring masks! They also provide sanitizer for every customer when they arrive. All the staff go out of the way to make you feel welcome! Highly recommend visiting this place!
With their support of local artists there are often new things to see. It's a great shop for a gift or a souvenir. Not only have I found things to decorate my home and work with, but I've bought gifts for graduations, holiday parties, retirements, birthdays, mother's and father's day, and so much more here. Looking to find or give something unique and meaningful? This should be your first stop!
Love, love, LOVE this store in downtown Appleton! Cathy and staff curate some of the finest local offerings around. This was my go-to stop for teacher's gifts and Christmas shopping. Of course, quite a few things came home for me as well!
