Blue Rose used to have great food and service, but obviously those days are gone! I used to take my office staff there to have amazing food and fun, but our latest experience was everything but great! We were a party of 8, and the only table there, yet the service was horrible. The waitress was more worried about laughing and having fun with the kitchen staff instead of taking care of her table. The menu went from three pages, down to one. The food taste like a cheap version of bar pub food, and was extremely over priced. I ordered spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer, a chicken sandwich with fries as my meal, with an ice water. My tab was $29!!!! That does not include gratuity. My chicken was so burnt that I couldn’t even eat it. What a waist of money! I will never go back!!!!!! I do not recommend, it’s not what it used to be!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Just had company Christmas party here tonight and It was awesome. Blackens chicken and the regular chicken was delicious. Service with having a big party could've been a little better, but I highly recommend this place.

Without a doubt Blue Rose Cafe has the best burgers, sandwiches and salads.

Inside, the eclectic infused atmosphere of wall hanging artwork is as vidid in color as its random mix of the profoundly odd.

Outside, a very pleasant riverside patio-deck dining with marvelous sunsets, and sometimes with actual water in the river.

However, the very best part of dining at the Blue Rose are the waitresses and waiters who are so very personable, attentive, always courteous and ever smiling true to their “No Cry Babies” creed. This evening we were very well attended by Shannan, Alexis, Isaiah and to each we extend our hearty appreciation and thanks.

The menu is 20 years out of date and poorly executed, blackened catfish, chicken tenders, ect. The kitchen has no regard for temperature preferences on your burger. Service is terrible, expect to wait 10 minutes after being seated for you waiter to arrive. And good luck getting a refill. Great location and building, but its showing its age. Broken windows covered over with plywood, chairs and tables that need to be replaced. Management is clearly uninterested in doing any maintenance on the building, training the staff or updating the menu menu. Save yourself the time and skip this off-brand Applebee's on the river.

Food was good. Service was good. Nice view. Nothing really exceptional about it, but would eat there again.
